Last week was a great recovery for me. I have already gained back 4 of the 7 pounds I lost when I was sick. Im hoping to make it all back and then some by the end of this project. If you want details of the workout I am following, I am doing exactly what is listed on this website(With acceptions due to our schedules): www.muscleandfitness.com/workouts/workout-routines/gain-10-pounds-muscle-4-weeks#exercise-1-3
In terms of meal plan I have been eating waffles with peanut butter and syrup with 1% milk for breakfast. This is an 800+ calorie 20g+ protein breakfast. My lunches and dinners have been varied but I am sure to always count the calories and grams of protein, and I aim to meet my goal of 2500 calories and about 100g of protein a day. Although we have read about specific meal plans, we decided it would be difficult and expensive to follow an adequate meal plan to the t, so we just planned a certain amount of calories and protein to consume daily.

The gains are getting going and the pain is growing. I worked out on Tuesday Ryan and I had our first workout sesh together this past Thursday and I worked out solo Saturday and Today, Monday. Tuesday I did day two. Thursday was arm day at Ryan's house for myself. I did day 3 of week 2 of the workout plan on Thursday. Saturday I re-did day 1 and today I did two days worth of workouts, day 4 and day 2. We will post a link to the work out plan we are following at a later date. Gains are a vital component to a healthy life style. It increases your self-confidence and boosts your appeal among women. These are scientific facts!!! So far I've gained 3 pounds on this project. I've gone from 137.6 lbs to 140.4 in two weeks which is ahead of the pace of our goal but behind the pace of the workout plan. I need to commit to the gains more but less important stuff such as school is getting in the way... I'm Austin Spencer stay classy Golden Sierra High

This post is just a post that is meant to replace an old post that was somehow lost within the horrible jungles of the schools internet. Our blog is going to and already has been about Austin and I's endeavor to adjust our diets and dedicate ourselves to hard workout schedules in order to make gains(get bigger and stronger). Austin has been using a workout schedule we created using our own prior knowledge of weight lifting and nutrition, while i have been following a schedule i found on the internet. In the end we will see who has made more gains, but at this point the sort of competition between programs has been ruined do to my illness. We hope to learn enough to reuse these diets and techniques in the future and continue to be healthy and athletic.
On my part(Ryan) this project has taken a turn for the worst. Recently I became extremely ill as a result in a breakdown in my immune system due to pure over exhaustion. I was completely incapable of functioning properly for four days and two of those four days I was incapable of even eating. Over those four days I lost 8 lbs. That is a huge loss compared to my body-weight. Additionally, this event put a massive indent in my workout schedule and I have decided to start over in hopes of gaining back the weight I so tragically lost. To answer Hunter's question about our diet, we have not set specific foods we are going to eat for each meal because that's expensive and stuff, but we have decided to watch the calories, grams of carbohydrates, and grams of protein in everything we eat. I am aiming to eat 3000 plus calories, about 90 to 100 grams of carbs, and at least 50 grams of protein each day, hopefully more with protein shakes and such. I have already noticed this project changing my nutritious lifestyle because I no longer see meals as meals, I see them as their ingredients and calories and I am having fun trying to stack up as many as I can each day.
